The ingredients needed to make Soya aloo gravy:
  1. Take 100 gms soya chunks
  2. Prepare 1 big potato
  3. Make ready 3 medium sized onion
  4. Get 2 big tomatoes
  5. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  6. Make ready 2 tsp chilli powder
  7. Make ready 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  8. Get 2 tbsp curd
  9. Make ready 1/2 tsp garam masala
  10. Make ready As per taste Salt

Instructions to make Soya aloo gravy:
  1. Soak soya chunks in water with salt in it. Meanwhile roughly chop onion, tomatoes and blend it into a paste.
  2. Now deep fry the potatoes and soaked chunks to half cook stage and keep it separately.
  3. Temper mustard seeds, methi dana and jeera. Add the blend paste in it and mix well.
  4. Now add all the masala and cook well till the oil separates the pan. Switch off the flame and add curd to avoid curdling. Once it's mixed switch on and let it cook. Once the gravy is cooked well add the fried potatoes and soya and adjust the consistency with water.
  5. Cook till potatoes are well cooked and add garam masala and little cream on the top.
  6. Soya aloo gravy is ready. Serve with hot rotis.

Soak the soya leaves in water and rinse them well twice. Then place them in a sieve and drain out the water thoroughly. Peel the potatoes and chop them in medium chunks. Remove the aloo soya chunks curry once cooked completely from flame and garnish with chopped tomatoes and serve with Chapati/Roti. I think this is the first time am featuring soya chunks recipe in my blog.
